You are the leaders of the Unification family.
You are blessed family members.

여기 모인 여러분들은 통일가의 지도자입니다.
축복가정입니다.
You are the leaders of the Unification family.
You are blessed family members.

혹은 50년, 40년, 30년, 20년 이상인 사람들이
아마 대부분일 줄 알고 있습니다.
Some of you have worked for the providence for fifty years, forty years, thirty years or twenty years. I am sure many of you have been here for most of that time.

나는 여러분에게 물어보고 싶어요.
여러분의 일생을 통해서 하늘 앞에 무엇을 자랑하고자 합니까?
What I would like to ask you now is,
In your entire life, what can you say you can be proud of in front of Heaven?

평생을 어려운 환경 가운데서도 ‘감사합니다.
더 발전하겠습니다.’
Throughout your entire life, you have lived in difficult conditions, yet you worked with the mind-set, I am grateful and I will do my best to develop what I have.

이런 마음으로 살아온 사람들은 솔직히 많지 않으리라고 봅니다.
내가 며칠 전에 지도자들에게 ‘이제부터 새로운 시대
However, I honestly believe that not many of you have lived like that.
A few days ago, I said to the leaders,

천일국 3년은 전체 통일가 축복가정들이 한마음 한 뜻,
참부모님을 중심삼고 건강하고
from now on, we are in a new era as we enter the third year of Cheon Il Guk.
Everyone, all the blessed families of the Unification family, must move forward with a unified will and unified determination

튼튼한 뿌리를 내려야 된다.’라고 말했습니다.
내가 올리브 트리에 예를 들었습니다.
centered on True Parents. Be healthy, be strong and grow very profound, deep roots.
I spoke about the olive tree as an example of this.

올리브 트리가 척박한 사막에 이스라엘 가본 사람들은
알겠지만 옥토는 아닙니다.
The olive tree lives and grows in barren conditions.
I am sure those who have been to Israel know that it is not a fertile land.

그 땅에 뿌리를 내릴려니 15년이 걸린답니다.
1년도 3년도 아닌, 15년 어떻게 사막의 열기 가운데
In this difficult environment, for the olive tree to grow its roots takes fifteen years—not one year, not three years—but fifteen years.

그렇게 살아남을 수 있을까? 더군다나 우리는 성경에서도 봅니다.
메뚜기 떼가 무섭습니다.
How does the olive tree survive in this scorching, hot desert? Furthermore, locusts, as described in the Bible, are extremely scary when they move in huge hoards.

메뚜기 떼가 지나가게 되면 나무들이 다 죽습니다.
그때 이 올리브 나무는 화학반응을 일으켜서 잎에서
After a locust hoard comes into a region, all of the vegetation is devastated.
However, the olive tree reacts by releasing a chemical that protects it from the locusts,

메뚜기를 쫓아냅니다. 그리고 주변의 나무들에게 경고합니다.
‘너도 조심해라. 살아남아야 하니까’
and all the nearby olive trees receive this as a warning signal from the first tree and emit the same chemical into the air, discouraging the locusts from coming near them.

이런 자연의 이치가 너무도 숭고하고 아름답습니다.
그래서 성경에 나오는 감람나무의 얘기는 천년 2천년이
We can see that what we can learn from nature is truly beautiful and profound, which is why, we learn about the true olive tree in the Bible. The story of the true olive tree has lingered for a thousand years,

흘러나오고 있습니다. 지금 2천년이 넘는 나무들이 있습니다.
그걸 볼 때에 우리는 또 배워야 되겠죠?
two thousand years; even today, there are olive trees that have lived for more than two thousand years. We need to learn from this story.

우리가 참부모님을 중심한 나 축복가정 어떻게 뿌리를 내렸는가?
금년은 청양의 해라고 말합니다.
While centering on the True Parents, ask yourself, How deep has my blessed family planted our roots? This is the year of the blue sheep [cheong yang].

청색은 푸르른 색, 깨끗하고 맑고 투명하고 자연 그대로입니다.
양이라는 동물은 하나님께서 천지창조를 하시고 인간까지
“Cheong” means “blue,” but it also means “clear,” “transparent.” It means “crystal clear.” It means “as natural as it gets.” The sheep is a special animal. When God created,

창조하신 동물 가운데 가장 온순하고 100% 위하여
사는 삶을 사는 양입니다. 안 그렇습니까?
out of all the animals God created for human beings, the sheep was the mildest and is the only animal that lives 100 percent for the sake of others. It is truly selfless, isn’t it?

성물로서 제물로서 양의 피를 많이 바쳐왔습니다.
그것은 양이 깨끗하고 온순하면서 자기가 없습니다.
This animal is considered holy because it was used as an offering [in the Bible]. This is because the sheep is a clean animal. It’s an obedient animal and the sheep doesn’t think of itself.

주인이 하는 대로 ‘감사합니다.’하고 받습니다.
그러니까 아무리 칼을 들어서 쳐도 소리가 없습니다.
The sheep follows the owner and is grateful, which is why no matter what the owner does, even when the owner puts a knife to its neck, the sheep does not emit a sound.

그러나 소나 다른 동물들은 그렇지 않죠? 이것을 볼 때
우리는 배워야합니다.
Other animals, however, like the cow, are not the same. When we look at this aspect of the sheep, we see that we need to learn from this animal.

자연의 이치를 통해서도 부모님을 통해서도 배워서
온전한 나 내 가정이 되어야 되는데 오늘은 내가 전체적으로
We need to learn the wisdom that is found in nature. Through True Parents, we have been learning that we need to become true people—true families.

잠깐 예를 하나 들겠습니다.
페루에 마추픽추라는 곳을 본 사람이 있을 거에요.
I would like to give you another example today. In Peru, there is the famous Machu Picchu site. I am sure some of you have visited this famous tourist attraction.

남미 선교했던 사람들은 다 봤을 거에요.
2천 미터가 넘는 산꼭대기에 도시를 세웠습니다.
I am sure all of you who have been missionaries to South America have visited this location. Machu Picchu is two thousand meters above sea level, deep in the mountains.

더군다나 계단식으로 논, 밭을 일구었어요.
그 흔적이 아직도 남아 있어요.
우리가 높은 산을 오르게 될 때 중턱에는
구름이 많이 끼게 되죠?
People built a city high up in the mountains. They also built stairs and constructed all of their rice paddies over wide steps. You can see the remnants of these fields even today. When we go high in the mountains, we can see many clouds.

그 밑에는 구름에 의해서 냇가에 물이 흐릅니다.
그럼 산꼭대기에는 햇빛을 보게 되죠.
It is very cloudy, so at the bottom, because of the clouds, you can see many streams and lots of water but at the top of the mountain, you see the sun and the sunshine.

말하자면 자연환경에 맞추어서
잉카 사람들은 거기에 나라를 세웠죠?
What I am trying say? I am trying to say that the Incas lived in accordance and in harmony with nature. This is how they built their nation.

여러분들이 생각하기에 물을 어떻게 공급이 되었을까?
궁금하죠? 자연에 적응하는 길 밖에는 없었을 거에요.
Have you thought about how these people got their water? I am sure you’re curious. The only way was to adapt to nature.

그래서 수로를 만들었어요. 아마 저수지가 있었을 거에요.
그래서 그 물 공급으로 인해서 논, 밭에서
This is why they made canals. Maybe they had reservoirs. Through these canals and reservoirs they were able to supply

양식을 구할 수 있었을 거에요.
the necessary water to grow all the fields of crops they were farming.

그래서 생각해봤어요. 우리가 천일국 3년을 맞아서
2020을 놓고 어떻게 나가야만 승리적 성과를 하늘 앞에
This is what I have been reflecting upon. We have entered the third year of Cheon Il Guk. How should we move forward toward Vision 2020, to be victorious and obtain results

하늘부모님 앞에 참부모님 앞에 돌려드릴 수 있을까?
많이 고심하고 의논하고 열심히 공부했을 줄 알고 있어요.
that we can offer to our Heavenly Parent and True Parents? I am sure you have thought a lot and discussed a lot as you contemplated this point.

그런 점에서 지금까지 해오던 방식 가지고는
발전이 있을 수 없겠다 하는 결론을 내릴 수 밖에 없는
There cannot be development if we continue forward in our old ways. This is the conclusion, this is the obvious conclusion that we reach

사건들이 일어났습니다. 2020을 놓고도 시간이 없어요.
and incidents have supported our coming to this conclusion. We do not really have enough time to fulfill Vision 2020;

그런데 천일국에는 하늘부모님과 참부모님이
만왕의 왕으로서 섭리를 하실려면 백성이 있어야 되잖아요?
however, in order for our Heavenly Parent and the True Parents together, as the king of kings, to carry out the providence of Cheon Il Guk, we need citizens to populate it.

백성이 없는 왕이 있을 수 없어요. 우리 축복가정들은
그 책임을 해야 되는데 나만의 축복으로 내 가정만의 축복으로
Without the inhabitants, can there be a reigning king? You blessed family members; you need to complete this responsibility. Please do not think this is just a blessing for you

지금까지는 미래를 생각하지 못했습니다. 사실입니다.
부끄러운 일입니다. 안 그렇습니까?
or your family alone. With that mentality, we cannot think about the future. This has happened before. It is shameful to think in this way. Right?

그러나 이제는 더 이상 늦어지면 안 됩니다.
늦출 수가 없습니다.
We cannot wait any longer;
we cannot ask the providence to wait.

그래서 잉카인들이 고산지대에 나라를 세워 식량을 해결했던
말하자면 밑에서부터 2천미터 이상되는 곳에서 그때
This is why the Incas built their nation high up in the mountains and they supplied food in the mountains. Though it is of course possible today,

인간의 힘으로는 물을 끌어 올릴 수 없습니다.
지금은 가능하지만. 그렇기 때문에 하늘, 천운, 하늘의 매달려야 했습니다.
they did not have the ability at that time to draw water up two thousand meters above sea level. That is why they had to rely on heaven and heavenly fortune.

그것을 잘 적응하여 위에서부터 평등하게 나누어서 생활했다는 점.
한국말에도 모든 책임자 자리에 있는 사람들은
They had to adapt to the conditions they were living in, so from the very top down, they could live by sharing equally. Even in Korean we have the saying “Everyone in the position of authority and responsibility must become like crystal-clear water.”

맑은 물이 되어야 한다고 말합니다. ‘윗물이 맑아야 아랫물도 맑다.’
이런 관점에서 지도자들은 새롭게 반성하고 참부모님의 전통을
The water from the top must be clear in order for the water running to the bottom to be clear. From this point of view, the leaders must repent once more and follow True Parents’ tradition

따라 앞장서서 모범이 되며 세계 앞에 참부모님과
같은 시대에 축복을 받았던 나 아무개 내 가정,
and stand at the forefront of the providence. Become models and stand tall in front of the entire world, and testify that your families received the blessing from True Parents,

내 종족은 책임을 다했다 하는 자리에서 영영세세토록
죽지 않는 참감람나무와 같은 2천년, 3천년을 사는
lived in the same era, and have fulfilled their responsibilities as Heavenly Tribal Messiahs, and in so doing have established a legacy of becoming true olive trees that will remain for generations and generations

나무에 비하면 우리의 업적은 참부모님을 모시고 나가는
한 영원합니다. 영원합니다. 아시겠습니까?
with roots so deep that these families will continue on in the way of True Parents for two, three or four thousand years into the future. As long as we attend True Parents and become one with them, we will always be eternal. We will be eternal. Do you understand?

그래서 이번에 고심 끝에 내가 말하게 되었습니다.
실질적으로 이런 체재가 만들어질려면 중심이 서 있어야 됩니다.
This is why, at this time, after much thought I have decided. In order to have a proper organization, the center must be established.

앞으로 모든, 1년에 두 번 하게 되는 큰 행사는
세계본부에서 주관합니다.
So, henceforth, all the major events that take place twice a year will be hosted by the FFWPU International Headquarters’ team.

그래서 세계본부의 세계회장, 문선진을 임명합니다.
네, 고마워요. 있다가 임명장을 주게 될 테니까 그때 박수 많이 쳐주세요.
본인은 매우 겸손하고 부끄러움이 많습니다. 마치 양 같습니다.
For this reason, the FFWPU international president will be Sun-jin Moon. I appoint Sun-jin Moon our international president. Thank you, Thank you. I will give her the certificate of appointment soon, so you can applaud more after that. I think Sun-jin Moon is very humble. She becomes embarrassed easily; she is like a sheep.

항상 그 옆에는 부군, 신랑이 있어야 합니다.
그래서 박인섭을 부회장으로 임명합니다.
Next to her, she needs her husband, which is why I appoint In-sup Park as the FFWPU international vice-president.

누구보다도 참가정을 대표하여 부모님의 전통을 참 아낌없이
여러분들에게 보여주고 여러분들과 함께 2020승리는
More than anybody else, they represent the True Family and they have selflessly followed True Parents’ tradition, showing you the example. Together with you, they will move us toward the fulfillment of Vision 2020

물론이요, 영원한 천일국의 만왕의 왕 인류의 70억 인류의
참부모의 기반을 닦는데 최선을 다하리라고 봅니다.
and they will build together with you the eternal kingdom of Cheon Il Guk and build a foundation for the eternal king of kings, the True Parents of all seven billion people in the world.

여러분 많이 협조 부탁합니다.
내가 내적으로 인사이동을 했습니다.
I hope you will help them wholeheartedly. I made several internal personnel changes as well.

이제 세계회장을 중심으로 하고 세계본부,
본부장은 김만호를 임명합니다.
Now, centering on the international president, the director-general of the FFWPU International Headquarters will be Man-ho Kim

그래서 김만호를 통해서 내가 모든 것을 지시하게 됩니다.
불필요한 인력과 시간은 빼버리고 어떻게 하면 모든 식구들이
and through Man-ho Kim, I will give all my directions. I will get rid of unnecessary manpower and time. How can we all become one

전체가 하나가 돼서 하나의 거대한 화살촉이 되어 세계 70억
인류의 가슴에 꽂힐 수 있을까?
and be like an arrow in reaching the hearts of all the 7 billion people around the world?

하나의 세계를 이루는데 최선을 다하기를 바라는 마음에서
결심했습니다.
I deeply hope that you will work as hard as possible for the sake of creating one united world. I made these decisions with that wish in mind. Show more
